About Me

My photo
I'm a quilting, knitting, sewing, cooking, reading, gardening nut who can never find enough hours in the day to get it all done. Then again, getting it all done is out-of-the question. I'm too easily distracted.

Oops! I Did It Again

You know, it wasn't all that long ago that The Spouse complimented me on the patience I was showing with my knitting. The compliment came after I knitted 2 right gloves from my nifty green wool from Skeins on Main....gloves that I started in August. When I discovered my error I was bummed, but I frogged that 2nd right and got to work on it again. Of course, other projects interrupted the finishing of that glove, but last night I sat down with the intention to finish it and post it on the blog this morning. Well, I didn't finish it last night, but when I got up this morning I picked it up and noticed something. I did it again. I knitted a 2nd right hand. Again. I shit you not.
So here is proof of my stupidity.

I'm chuckling out loud again. Glad I'm not the only one.

I think it is time you just knit two lefties.

I think you should just knit one new left glove and toss one of the right handed gloves in the garbage. Unless it's suppose to be a Christmas present, you'll have long winter days to sit and knit it.

Neat blog! And now a dumb question from an old lady - why can't you just turn one of them over? I suppose there is a perfectly good reason why not. Cute, funny little post. Keep warm here in Michigan - no global warming here right at the present!
