Here is my 9th block of Simply Vintage. I have obviously taken a few liberties with the design in an effort to make it my own. I'm not sure that I'm finished with it. I see a leaf that I dislike greatly, so that may have to be removed and replaced. I'll stare at the block for awhile and see how I feel after a day or two.
Here are the fingerless gloves that I started, well, more than a year ago? At the Harbor Star...before Vicki moved to Florida so that might be more than 18 months ago? All I've had left to do on them for the last year was finish one thumb. Just 1! So last weekend I picked went on a search for the needles, found them , and had them finished in about 15 minutes.
Ok. That's all I have. Not enjoying the whole blogging thing right now, so I'm going to shut down this computer and walk away. Talk to ya later!

The Godiva block is almost pretty enough to wear! Love your block. Don't know what your liberties were, but I think it turned out great. As for the gloves, it's a perfect time to get them done....red for Valentine's Day. Very pretty. Glad you stuck to the blogging today as your post was great.
I'm really loving your BOM. Wish now I would have kept at it and not given up. Too late now since I've used the fabric somewhere else. But then you know that's the story of my life.
There is always going to be more fabric V!
That heart box made my heart flutter. GORGEOUS! Tell Tim I'm very impressed with his taste and style. Now on to the applique block......it's wonderful. Now I'm going to want to have initials and dates on all my quilts. It's so much better than the usual "label". I hate the look of a label on the back of my quilts and that's probably why I don't have many labeled.
Those gloves are very cool. And you are quite the photographer, too!!
If I had known you got a big old box of Godiva Chocolate, I would have run right over to help you eat them.
